Adolf Hitler was one of the most evil men in the history of the world. In terms of committing atrocities, few are on the same level as Adolf Hitler; the Nazi dictator who was responsible for the deaths of six million Jewish people during the Holocaust. (And then even more civilian deaths throughout the course of WWII.)

But despite him being one of the most documented men in history, there are still a few things about him that people don’t know. Or at the very least, there are a few things that tend to be overlooked. Which, for the record, is understandable.

Here we present 10 interesting(unknown) facts about Adolf Hitler.

1.He was a Disney fan.
He showed great interest in cartoon or anything animated.Snow White and Seven Dwarfs was his favourite.

2.He was very fond of sweets.
He loved every kind of sweets, especially chocolates. It is believed that he ate 2 pounds of chocolate every day. He used to have a daily dose of pastries and cakes after his meals. he just couldn’t resist sweets.

3.By any other name.
Has his father not changed the family name to Hitler, his name would have been Adolf Schicklgruber.

4.His first love.
One of Hitler's early loves, possibly his first, was a Jew. Stefanie Isak caught his eye in 1905 when she was a blushing 16. The two attended the same school, and he loved her from afar. By all accounts, he never spoke to her and Stefanie had no idea of his feelings for her.

5.He was an absentee Leader.
As the leader of the Nazi party, Hitler never once visited one of his concentration camps.

6.Artist and Anti-Semite.
Throughout his youth, Hitler dreamed of becoming an artist. He applied twice to the Vienna Academy of Art (once in 1907 and again in 1908) but was denied entrance both times.

7.There were 42 known assassination attempts on his life.
He survived all of them...and then decided to kill himself.

8.Hitler was a vegetarian
He also didn't smoke or drink alcohol. Not saying all straight-edge vegetarians are Nazis, but if you bum me out about my whiskey and steak nights, I'm going to make the comparison.

9.Hitler wasn't even from Germany.
He was from Austria, which is kind of like Germany's Canada.

10.When Hitler was a boy, he wanted to be a priest.
Hitler was humbled by a local priest as a four year old boy when the cleric saved him from a freezing lake. As an adult, being a priest wasn't enough for Hitler. He wanted to play god.
